Effective against the following parasites:
Foresto, a veterinary medicinal product, effectively protects dogs and cats against tick infestations for a period of 8 months.

In dogs, the Foresto collar demonstrates long-lasting acaricidal efficacy (kills ticks) against tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Dermacentor reticulatus) and repellent efficacy (prevents feeding) against tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus) for a period of 8 months.

In cats, the Foresto collar demonstrates long-lasting acaricidal (kills ticks) (Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus turanicus) and repellent (prevents feeding) efficacy against tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus) for a period of 8 months.

The product is effective against tick larvae, nymphs and adults.

It protects against the following diseases:
By effectively controlling Rhipicephalus sanguineus ticks, the collar provides indirect protection against the transmission of the pathogens Babesia canis vogeli and Ehrlichia canis. This, in turn, results in a significant reduction in the risk of babesiosis and ehrlichiosis in dogs for a period of 7 months.

The collar reduces the risk of infection with Leishmania infantum, which is transmitted by Phlebotomus flies (sand flies), and remains effective for up to 8 months. Additionally, it is also effective in treating infestations with biting/chewing lice (Trichodectes canis).

Instructions for use:
To fit the collar, place it on the animal’s skin, slipping it over its neck. For dogs weighing over 8 kg, use a 70 cm collar, whilst for small dogs weighing up to 8 kg and cats, use a 38 cm collar. Please note that the collar is intended for outdoor use only.

STEP 1:
Remove the collar from the packaging and remove the inner plastic connectors. Then place the collar around the dog’s/cat’s neck and thread the loose end through the two loops, adjusting the collar to the correct size.

STEP 2:
Adjust the collar around your dog’s or cat’s neck, ensuring it is not too tight. You should be able to fit two fingers between the collar and the animal’s neck.

STEP 3:
Cut off the excess length of the collar, leaving about 2 cm beyond the second loop.
